I have a customer with a 6 user NT4 network running an ARev 2.03 app with the NPP installed and using the All Networks driver. All clients are NT4 and running ARev from a PIF. Expanded memory is set to auto in the PIF and they are using /x to log in to ARev. (All types of memory are set to auto in the PIF). When printing merge letters, they occasionally get the message "Merge Line 1 B10 variable not assigned a value, zero used, Line 1 Merge broke because a run time error was encountered". If another user logs on and tries to print the same letter it will work fine, or if they change or add a character of data and reprint it will work fine.
They have about 6 standard letters each of which they print 30-40 of every day, and this message appears maybe once or twice a day, without apparent reason.
Can anybody help?
Thanks
Kim, there are known issues with expanded memory "breaking" if not restricted to 4096 kB.
So try AREV.EXE /XM4096 on the command line and use 4096 for the PIF limit.

Hi
Have tried the memory settings as you suggested, but it made no difference. Anybody got any other ideas?
Thanks
