I have just tried to upgrade my 32bit system network driver from 1.5 to 2.1 and am experiencing hiccups doing so.
I am running the NT service 1.5 on an NT server and have the REVPARAM files installed accordingly. I have allocated a Drive Mapping to the Directory on my Server.
When I use the 2.1 driver I get an error FS1104 , Group 1100 unable to access Linear Hash Files - When I switch back to 1.5 Driver everything is fine.
Is the 2.1 Driver stable and what are the improvements from version 1.5 ?
Any Suggestions
TIA

David,
If you are going to use the 2.1 All Networks driver you must also be using the Linear Hash 2.1 Service. It sounds like you still have the 1.5 version of the service. In which case you need to keep your All Networks driver at version 1.5 or upgrade your Linear Hash service.

Can anyone highlight the benefits for us to upgrade from the NT server 1.5 to 2.1
What are the main benefits?

David,
One main benefit is that you need the 2.1 Service if you want to support data records ] 64K. The other benefit is that the 2.1 Service uses TCP/IP versus Named Pipes with the 1.5 Service.
