System Deployment Preparation

For VARS and Resellers who want to distribute a copy of their application software with a new serial number that has been developed with a master copy of OpenInsight 10, the following steps must be taken.

1. Have your new serial number and new authorization code available for this process.

2. Build your OpenInsight 10 application with all the features you need.

3. Copy your updated OpenInsight 10 for distribution to a deployment folder.

4. From the OpenInsight 10 in your deployment folder, launch OpenInsight in the SYSPROG application. Go to Settings, Users, Policy Setup and check the “System Deployment Preparation” checkbox and click OK.

5. You are prompted for the new serial number.

6. Enter your authorization code using the License Renewal button found on the Application Settings dialog box as described in Section I of this document. Exit OpenInsight 10.

7. Start up OpenInsight 10, and it should now recognize the new serial number.
