RevLH.Log causes Universal Driver 5.0 Manager Failure
Problem: The Universal Driver 5.0 Manager slows down over time and stops responding. Restarting the Linear Hash v5.0 service restores the Universal Driver 5.0 Manager to its initial state.
Cause: Revelation Software have discovered that the Universal Driver 5.0 installer inadvertently included a file named revlh.log in the UD_Manager folder. That file triggers the Universal Driver Manager to log its activity. As the log grows the Universal Driver Manager slows down and eventually stops responding. Restarting the Linear Hash v5.0 service clears the log. Clearing the log restores the Universal Driver Manager's performance and begins another cycle of slowing down. Deleting the revlh.log file will stop this behavior. The revlh.log file cannot be deleted while the Universal Driver Manager window is running.
Solution: Close the Universal Driver Manager window. Stopping the Linear Hash v5.0 service is not necessary. Delete the file revlh.log located in the Revsoft\Universal Driver 5.0\UD_Manager folder.
