There seems to be no way out, but here is a tip.

Click on the Form Designer icon in the taskbar to give it focus.

Right-click on the Debug icon in the taskbar and close it.

Because focus is now on the Form Designer and not the screen you are running, you can access the code, remove the debug statement or fix the problem, then continue.

This saves the need to kill and restart the application.
