I am warehousing from OpenInsight to SQL 7.0. After the warehousing is complete, from SQL there are thousands of rows in the table but from the query window in Client Server workspace only two rows can be seen. When selects or updates are done through OI, a message appears the "The db process is dead or not enabled" after the first one or two rows go through. The problem is a new one that has started occuring after a re-install of SQL.

Suggest that you check SQL Service packs are reinstalled, also the client side 16bit drivers if that is what you are using.

Have you tried using Query Window in OpenInsight to a MS SQL Server 7.0 using an ODBC connection? I'd recommend trying that and seeing if it works for you.
