Thanks for your responses about importing the Arev data into Access. But I am also having trouble viewing the tables and their structures. Is there a utility that will help me do that?

LISTDICT tablename will allow you to view the table structure.

The easiest (and least informative) way to look at the data is to simply EDIT tablename record_id. There are other utilities out there, chief among which is Snooper (written by one of the original Revelation authors - one of Nourse brothers.)

Press F5 for command prompt. Then:

LISTVOLUMES will give you a list of and details about AREV volumes that are currently attached

LISTMEDIA will give you a list of and details about files in the specified volume.

LISTFILES will give you a list of and details about all AREV files that are currently attached.

LISTDICT will give you a list of and details about all dictionary items defined in the dictionary for the specified file.

DICT will allow you to view and/or edit the details of the dictionary record the specified dictionary item in the specified field.
