I need convert ARev tables in a Dos Application to OpenInsight and then further convert them to SQL Server 7. Now, I can 'attach' these ARev tables into OI, but I meet a connect problem when I want to convert them further to SQL Server 7.
I created some Data Sources in Windows NT '32bit ODBC Data Sources' in Control Panel, and then wanted to create a new connection in OI. But, when I double-click in the DataSource row in the Attribute table, I cannot display a list of available ODBC data sources, and

a Error message showed: 'No ODBC Data Sources were found.'

 Could you please tell me:
How I can solve the connection problem?
Any directions on converting Arev tables to SQL Server7.
Thanks!

This may help you. But the problem most likely lies in the fact that OpenInsight is 16-bit and you probably need to 'Thunk' OI into seeing 32-bit ODBC sources. To do this click here.

Good luck,

Weiwu,

You can also use the direct connection object to SQL Server if you have the SQL Server 16-bit (a.k.a. "for Windows 3.1") client libraries installed.
