redisplay/refresh during paint session (AREV Specific)

Can I recall the Paint window initialize subroutine or any other routine to refresh the screen? Any ideas would be appreciated. I am using AREV 3.12.

Actually, I don't see why display_action won't work, since paint is just a regular window, when all's said and done.
