"Rectangle characters" in System Editor (OpenInsight Specific)

I was just curious to know if anybody has seen non-printable characters, i.e those that show as rectangles, suddenly turn up in stored procedures while you work with them in the System Editor. I fairly often get three rectangles in a row. I suspect they are CRs and LFs.

Yes, they generally occur when you backspace at the end of a line or something and you'll suddenly see your tabs/crlfs as squares. Happens here, hadn't bothered to mention it!

Andrew,
Thanks. It's nice to know it's a known problem. Or feature.

We usually get them when our SSP's get large in size, about 32K or so.

Don,
That is the case with me now. I'm hitting the ceiling every now and again. And *that* is a *real* PITA. Here I'm trying to be smart and collect all the programming for a window in a commuter module. And then I'm almost forced to split it up again because of that annoying limit.

Mike,
Your reply has me confused. Why should three squares be a message from the Monolith? Please don't make me watch the whole film again just to find out!
Aha! I use Courier, so I get open squares, but you use System or similar, so you get small black Monoliths… Sorry for being so slow!

one of those few instances when I liked the sequel as much as the original, maybe more.
