ARev 2.1x lock-up under NT (AREV Specific)

We are test migrating our six ARev 2.1x applications from OS/2 to NT4. We have installed the NLM, loaded the TSR, created the PIF and *.NT files, modified apps, etc. Everything works just fine as long as the session is kept "busy". Once the workstation has been idle for a period of time (this time varies but it usually happens after only 5 minutes) we experience a lockup of ONLY the ARev NTVDM session. All the other NT processes are active and fine. I am forced to close down the NTDVM session and start again. According to the NT Task Manager the CPU percentage for the ARev NTVDM is always in the high 90's.
As stated we are using the NLM 1.5 & TSR under NT4 Service Pack 3 using CSNW.
We have tried various configs and can't seem to find the right combination. Is there a suggested NT setup for ARev 2.1x which we can try (i.e PIF, AUTOEXEC.NT, CONFIG.NT settings)?
The following are some of our current PIF Memory & Misc settings:
- Conventional memory: Total=Auto, Initial Environment=1024,
Protected=off- Expanded memory: Total=4096
- Extended memory: Total=None, Uses HMA=On
- MS-DOS protected-mode memory: Total=Auto
- Foreground, Allow screen saver=Off
- Background, Always Suspend=Off
Any help on this matter is appreciated as we are to start our roll-out at the start of January.

I've been using the latest client (4.5) on an NT box (SP3 and SP4) and loads up without a problem.
