We currently have an 'e-com' style web site developed using OI 3.7.2. in conjunction with the web deployment pack.

Under load we have experienced problem whereby the user has been returned 'incorrect' data by the OI system. After checking through various news groups we have identified that the version of OICGI.EXE used in our current deployment, version 3.6x needs updating to version 3.7.4.

To this end we have obtained the OI 3.7.3 and 3.7.4 updates.

My question is this, is it feasible to update just the OICGI.EXE leaving the rest of the system as OI 3.7.2 or do we need to upgrade the entire system.

I have obtained the new OICGI.EXE by installing a fresh standalone copy of OI3.7.2 and applying the updates.

Regards

You need to upgrade OI.

The fix changed OI as well as OICGI.
