Crash Data - Is it helpful? And should we send it? (OpenInsight 32-bit Specific)

To all,
I have often wondered what in the world does Microsoft do with all the Crash data they potentially received and does it make sense to sent Microsoft Crash data for non-Microsoft products, e.g., PaintShop Pro.
Here's a 15 minute video that I found very interesting and in part answered the questions who looks at this data and does it matter.
What happens when your system crash?"
It the past when OI would "crash" I would just Cancel. However, from looking at this video, it seems that there could be real value in forwarding this information onto the "Watson Team."
Does RTI use this information now? What do other developers do when a crash occur? And after viewing the video, will you now send data, if you weren't before? Will this help make OI better if we all "click" send?

It is unlikely that sending to MS will help but the information contained in the crash data can help Revelation solve the problem if it is a Revelation problem.

Well exactly that was the intent, i.e., could this help Revelation and indirectly help us . For example, sometimes we see the Form Designer becomes "nonresponsive" then the Crash dialog appear.
Here's a link that further explains how vendors might include additional information to help debug various situation. There are othher references, but to start
