There are two fields in the ENV_appname item in SYSENV (fields 3 and 26) that have the path of where the apps subdirectories of tables are held.

e.g. H:\mfw\oinsight\medicode

We recently removed the oinsight directory as it served no purpose but the ENV_appname item still has it as above.

The app works fine, no problems. So what is the purpose of these two fields

For info purposes does anybody have a full list of field definitions/descriptions for this item

Many thanks

Tony-

Field 3 is the Transaction Volume

Field 26 is the commit volume.

These are defined in the Insert ENVIRON_CONSTANTS

Hope it Helps-

Mike

thanks for the info.

We are still having the hanging problems at one of our sites that I talked to you about a while ago. The log of the linear hash service didn't point to the exact cause of the hanging but we have changed all the reads of reference files to read only i.e. READO

We have exhausted all the programming options to try and solve this problem.

I was wondering if there was an ideal group of environment settings that should be used which may provide a solution.
