Corrupt AREV system file using NT 4.0 Workstation? (AREV Specific)

We are using AREV 2.12 without the NLM on Netware 3.12. We were testing AREV under a DOS box in NT 4.0 Workstation a few days previous to an application error that later started. The error resulted in extremely slow response and while using a network sniffer found that the server was denying access or responding to the client that the files or directories do not exist but later would allow access or find the files after many attempts.Are there any known problems under NT, OS/2 or DOS that would cause corruption to any AREV system files? We are currently using OS/2 3.0 with the DOS box and the OS/2 Netware Requester without problems except that the OS/2 requester is poor. We were also told that we need to run the NLM for AREV so file locking will take place.

It is a known problem that you will receive errors in your data if you are using Arev (any version) with more than one user in either Windows for Workgroups, Windows95, or Windows NT.
As far as I know, there are no known problems under Os/2, but if it is using any sort of network write caching, it would probably also have problems.
