I am trying to specify an xml schema that I have already created to be used by the inet_oi_xml function but no matter what I put in as the pathway to the aforementioned schema I get an error, "No Schema File Passed", and then program continues on anyway creating its own schema and ignoring what I put in please help….

This is already in the bug tracker as bug 641, reported August 2006.

I'm working with Fran on this one. Have you had any luck creating the XML files from the XSD files using MSXML OLE?

Wow, that's quite a configuation. Our needs are very basic at this time, so I just wrote some code to walkthrough the schema and build the XML. Thanks.

The INET_OI_XML routine has been fixed, in the 9.1 release, to not generate an error when you pass in the name of the schema. However, it may not function exactly as you expect - all INET_OI_XML does with this information is add a link to the schema file into the XML. It does _not_ "enforce" or validate the schema on the XML in any way.

Don't know if that will be much help with any of the issues you're discussing…but at least the problem has been resolved

about this INET_OI_XML, i do remember there is a bug in 7.2.1 regarding about hiding process message.

from my undestanding, if we hide it, the whole export process will not work at all. does 9.1 release solve it?
