We've posted a preliminary report on what happened at the Revelation 2002 User Conference in Las Vegas during August 14-16.

The document can be found here, and will be updated as we pull more information from pictures and videos that were taken at the conference.

Thanks!

Wow, what can I say.

Maybe I can start with the fact that the future is looking so bright for RevTech and their tools that I wish I wasn't migrating to another system and that I could continue to work with their products.

OI32 definitely looks promising, especially the dll version of the engine. And finally, one of the main reasons that we are moving away from an ARev based system is being fixed with the introduction of ODBC drivers.

Man I wish I had those 3 years ago.

Revelation Software,

Thank you very much for a great conference! I just got off the phone with some of my customers and we are very excited about the new opportunites you have created for us. We are looking forward to the final 4.1 release and to the future of your products.

Thanks also to the Sprez team and the other vendors for their efforts in making the conference a big success.

Regards,

Byron

Matt,

You'll be kicking yourself. OI 4.03 was a lot faster than OI16 variants and opened the way to all sorts of possibilities, OI 4.1 is faster again, many of those posibilities realised, and the horizon seems to open up. And down the track we hear that the product is going to get faster, more robust, better and feature rich. No wonder some of the big accounts such as Ceridian are returning.

This would be from Southcoast Terminals? They were very pleasant, and seemed happy with what they saw.
