When trying to use the Evaluation software to connect to the Notes Server using the Component Manager I get the following error message:-
"You have either not installed Notes, or you have not specified the Notes directory in the PATH statement of your AUTOEXEC.BAT file"
The Notes programs are on a network drive S:\NOTES the NOTES.INI file and local databases are on my personal network drive O:\NOTES\DATA both of these mappings appear in the autoexec.bat on my PC running Win95 and Notes 4.52 (16 bit).
Could you please tell me how do I get the connection to Notes to function?

Hello Neil,
A 32-bit version of ViP and a 32bit operating system (Win95) require that you have have a 32bit client install of Notes.
If you have a 32bit install of Notes, it should be possible to simply append this directory path (ie c:\notes32) to your path statement.
Hope this helps,
