I am having a problem. I use the @station command and nothing comes back for the information. It should be the station ID correct? Why is this not working? Someone told me it was NETX.EXE but there is no netx in 4.11 it uses VML's.. I dont know can someone help?

I am not responding – I thought you might know the answer to my question?
Do you need the AREV NLM with Netware 4.11 using client 32? Is it required? If so, if I use MS Client instead of Client 32 do I need the NLM?

Having Client 32 or not doesn't make any difference with respect to the reason that you would be using the NLM. The NLM protects against data corruption, and will usually work better using netware client 32 over the ipx/SPX compatible protocol from Microsoft. The client 32 is how you talk to the netware server, where as the NLM is an i/o buffer to the data on the server.
Hope that helps you out.

I don't know for sure, but from what I've read after doing a search on this particular subject, how about enabling netbios?
If that's not it, and no one else answers, I'd try doing a "search this list".

What network driver are you using?
What is the bump count on the AREV.EXE?
What's the ARev version?

The NLM requirements do not have much to do with clients as much as the workstation's operating system. Since you are using Win95, the NLM is required no matter what the client or server version.
