Does anyone know an easy and quick way to move files from one location to another, short of recreating the files and dictionaries in the new location and then copying the records over?

Is this a permanent MOVE or a COPY or a PARTIAL COPY?

Moving is literally just moving them at DOS then reattaching them as long as there are no other REV files at the destination location.

I am moving specific files out of one location into another. Right now we have a PRODDATA location with 2000+ files in it. I want to move about 15 of them to a new location LIVEDATA I just created.

The exact command will depend on the version of arev you are using but in 3.12 try CW COPYTABLE at TCL.
