Yup, bug. Problem is the system thinks the @ in @ANS is the termination of the full call, so the system just sees @C @ as the code.

The catalyst C code itself does work, but seems to fall apart in DEFAULT, which is where most people use it.

I tested on a pre-prompt (Code=C", Cmd=@ANS=@USERNAME") and the prompt was filled in with @USERNAME. Not quite the same as what you want though.

Here's a fix. Just have the Object var written out to SYSOBJ, $DEFAULT. Don't foget to backup first.
