This is a nasty problem with the NPP that seems to present with repetitive processing. The same code running with either AREV Netware driver does not cause this problem. Our solution was to sprinkle Rbasic FLUSH and GARBAGECOLLECT within our code esp before READs, SUSPENDs and if necessary within loops. This did cure the problem which seems to be corruption of the file handle on the REVLOCKS file. I am not sure if this is yet acknowledged as a bug.
Our client has NPP loaded on an NT Service
site with Windows NT V4.0 and Service Pack 3.
Is there an update on this 'bug' or is there some
other reason for this message?
We would appreciate any response.
