I continue to receive a message that says "Waiting for {field_name} *

root to be available". Has anyone out there seen this before? What is

the cause or code behind this error message.

The root record is the indexing record that holds the keys to the nodes. This record is parsed to to find which node to begin the search and get's locked to prevent nodes from switching out from under you.

Could be that a workstation is not releasing locks, one has an incredibly long update going, or and index process is terminating abnormally.
