1. when I am starting up AREV system, it shows "RPT57A 'Line 557 not enough string space - out of memory" ' on the screen non-stopping, I only choose reboot the computer. This error message shows randomly not always. But sometime, it shows "Stack Overflow", and then return to DOS.

2. besides above error, sometimes, the system remain stand on the screen, nothing to do. It will display "MSG Line 1 maximumn number variable exceed … ". And then, I reboot the computer and then startup application again. It seems all things is OK.

I have not changes any hardware configuration. These problems happening always. I don't know what is happened. Pleae Help !!!!

Another could be if you shelled a system subroutine in a way that was recursive. There are other things that could do it as well, but if you suspect this sort of thing as the cause, what you should do is restore REVMEDIA.* and REV00000.* from a backup saved before your problem started.
