INVALID INDEX

We have an index that twice has failed to update properly.

It is not a symbolic, its a field.

Only returns recent data, older files are missing from index.

First time I did a straight rebuild and all data showed again.

Now a month later the same problem.

Solution - Only thing I can think of is the MFS is currpted and I need to manually remove the indexing from the file and rebuild the indexing from scratch. Brings back memories have not done manual rebuild in eons.

EDIT debugger line 2

I am trying to remove the indexes above but need to do an EDIT REVMEDIA to remove the MFS.

I am receiveing the crash error line 2 for the EDIT command.

I have seen alot of talk about this error but still have not figured out the solution.

Please Help!!!!!!!

I tried the following so far :

EDIT on System1 SYSPROG - crashed

EDIT on System1 APPLICATION - fine

EDIT on System2 SYSPROG - fine

EDIT on System2 APPLICATION - fine

EDIT on System1 APPLICATION(Different Station) - crashed

EDIT on System1 SYSPROG(Different Station) - crashed

Thanks All!!!!!

EDIT PROBLEM

Did not quite understand a post from before but now I do,

The AREVC ini file was corrupted and being used by all instances

that where failing. EDIT works now!!!!

INVALID INDEX PROBLEM

Found a GFE on the REVMEDIA for the volume, I am assuming this is probably why my indexing was not working correctly.
