One of the clients has one dictionary field that keeps disappearing from the table. We have applied an update to add the field back into the table but it still is disappearing. They are the only client that this is happening to. I tried replacing the rev files from the existing system, tried adding it through table builder, tried to apply and update to add it and it is still a problem. I out of ideas on what could be the cause and the client is tired of applying the update as a temporary fix. Any suggestions would be great

Laura,

This is definitely NOT normal behavior. Any possibility that a backup copy of the dictionary is getting restored somehow? Does the field disappear overnight or during the normal operating hours of the applications?

Don,

It is happening during normal working hours. They had to apply the update, which is a temporary fix, multiple times yesterday morning.

Is one system maintaining the database columns in the repository (see Application Properties) and the other is not?

I looked in the Application Properties and all the systems are maintaining the database columns in the same place.
