I have a client with a problem. They are getting a fs1001 error on a large table with the sizelock already set to 0. They have a NT 4.0 Server with service pack 4, 6 win98 workstations. Running arev3.111 and NPP1.50. This started when they installed the NPP, when they remove the NPP the system still runs fine (using the MSDOS driver).

When they re-installed the NPP the Error returns. What is going on with the NPP?

Are you sure about the error you are receiving? Did you run the FIXVOL/FIXCGE programs?

Aaron,

I am positive that the error is fs1001, I am not at that site but I am dialing in with pcanywhere32 and can see it myself. I did run fixvol/fixcge before posting my first message. I am totally stumped by this!?!?!?! Any help would be appreciated.

John

This error says that the total length of all the keys in a particular group has exceeded 64K. Normally this shouldn't happen, but occasionally 1 extra key can get written out.

I have no idea why one driver will give you access while another will not, but if this is truly the error then your best bet is to log in witht the driver that works and remake the file.
