Help if you can,

I am using Arev 2.0 and am suddenly having a problem when I record copy. I get the error " Control file %Records% has exceeded maximum length, 65,000…." So it appears that this is a control file that has maxed out the allowable record size. Does anyone know about this file and how I can fix this error?

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Martha

This means that the file has a quickdex on it which stores the keys in sorted order so you get a sorted report quickly. As this is stored in a single record it can only get to 64K.

Solution - remove quickdex At TCL. DICT FILENAME, F6, Quickdex - remove.
