We use AREV 2.1 and we are trying to attach a volume with

files on REV G version. However when the file list window

appear (F2) show an empty volume message. But when I made

a LISTVOL it show all the files on the volume right but I can

Access them, could you give so gentle to bring me some help.

In order to attach REVG files, you need to name the REVG volume:

Tools-]Files-]Set Volume

Then:

Then you ATTACH GREV-LNK and your files will be available. Beware, however, that AREV just MIGHT make the REVG files useless since there are significant dictionary differences between REV-G and AREV. If there are any invalid dictionary pointers from REV-G as seen by DICT.MFS, you won't be able to attach. I use a temporary substitute for DICT.MFS when I do this which will allow for attaching invalid dict items. If you need a copy, e-mail me: [email protected].
