In order to attach REVG files, you need to name the REVG volume:
Tools-]Files-]Set Volume
Then:
+——————–Set Volume———————+
¦ ¦
¦ Volume Name GREV-LNK < Your Name ¦
¦ ¦
¦ File Type RTP59 < This is for Rev-G ¦
¦ ¦
¦ Data Location C:\GREV < Wherever ¦
¦ ¦
¦ Control Files Location < Not Needed ¦
¦ ¦
+—————————————————+
Then you ATTACH GREV-LNK and your files will be available. Beware, however, that AREV just MIGHT make the REVG files useless since there are significant dictionary differences between REV-G and AREV. If there are any invalid dictionary pointers from REV-G as seen by DICT.MFS, you won't be able to attach. I use a temporary substitute for DICT.MFS when I do this which will allow for attaching invalid dict items. If you need a copy, e-mail me: [email protected].
