We are using AREV 2.12 and running it on a Novell Netware 6.0 Server with the new Universal Driver, and using the TCP/IP protocol on our workstations. Note the Novell server has both TCP/IP and IPX. Workstations consists of a mix of NT 4.0 / 2000 and XP PRO. Netware client is Novell 4.83 SP 1.

Since we switched over to the Universal Driver and converted the workstations from IPX to strictly IP, we are finding that AREV will pause momentarily so it doesn't necessarily keep up with the key strokes when users are entering information or are changing screens. After which it initiates all the key strokes once it stops pausing.

We have noticed this seems to happen a lot more with the NT 4.0 workstations than with XP.

Any thoughts as to why this might be happening? Thank you.
