I have not been able to get EM recognized in Arev. I am running Arev2.1 on Dell notebook (P800) with Windows 2000 professional as the OS. I have the /x /m4096 settings on the command line, have files=200 in the config.nt file. I have EM set to 4096 in the properties section of the shortcut. I have also checked the properties of the _Default file to enure EM is activated. Any suggetions on how to get EM activated?

Pat,

No solution for you, I can confirm that you are not the only one running into this problem.

I am running into that problem right now, hence why I'm actually using the discussions groups (something I haven't done in at lesat 3 years)

Sean;

In the config.nt, if not already there, add the following lines;

DEVICE=C:\WINDOWS\HIMEM.SYS

DEVICE=C:\WINDOWS\EMM386.EXE 4096 RAM

If "C:\WINDOWS\" is not the correct path to HIMEM.SYS and EMM386.EXE then change it to the correct one. If you do not have them add them.

Hope this helps-
