I am reposting this message in the online discussion hoping for any help at all as I am at a loss.

We have two clients with similar scenarios so a solution to one should fix both. The problem is that when a user shuts down OpenInsight, the NLM is not releasing all the files. So, when that same user starts the program up again, a second user license is used. Eventually the client runs out of user licenses. The only way to remedy the situation is to stop and start the NLM and then they are fine until that situation occurs again. Their specs are as such:

OpenInsight 4.11

NLM 5.5

Server-

Novell 5.1 SP6

Workstation-

Windows 2000 Professional SP4

Novell Client 4.83 SP2

Protocols: IP and IPX with IPX preferred

Frametype: 802.2

RTI has suggested looking into this issue more on Novell's side. They mentioned looking into a timeout setting in Novell that would release the files. As to specifics of this setting, there were none.

Any help would be appreciated as I am now at a loss and this problem has been ongoing for months. Thank you in advance.
