I am new to both OI and Installshield and I was wondering if I could use the installshield project wizard for OI.

If so, which selection should I use when asked for the development environment?

If not, what would be the easiest way to get started?

I have installshield version 5.5 and while it promises the world, I'm not sure where to start.

Any pointing in the right direction would be appreciated.

We use IS 5.5 too and you can use the project wizard if you so wish, or you can just code it all by hand :-). However, if you want to use it to start OpenEngine and execute Stored Procedures you will need to so some scripting yourself and call a few DLL functions to communicate with it ( We do have a standard IS script to handle this, so if you interested please email us separately ).

Doesn't matter - We usually specify C or C++. What you MUST do is specify the target system as Windows 3.1, that way you'll generate a 16-bit setup routine that can talk to OI.
