How can we remove a Quickdex "index" from a file on a runtime system (i.e. via TCL and not the maintenance menus?).

Our end-user has blown the 64K limit on the hidden record %RECORDS%.

Any ideas ?()*(&"^£$

You can remove the QUICKDEX as follows :

Press F5

Type DICT

Choose the filename

Press F6 and pick the right softkey (F3 or F4) depending on DATA or DICT

The softkeys create the index if they don't exist and delete them if they exist.
