Cannot read record at client site but can read it on our system (AREV Specific) [Revelation On-Line Wiki]

The key is wild with single quotes, spaces, periods, bars(|), commas and backslashes and 279 characters long. I cannot read the record from a select list, or with quotes around the key. But transfering the rev files to my NT location I can read the record.

Dave, a key that large sounds like you might encounter problems.

Check the indexing, if any. Check available memory and check for corrupted keys (delimiters). Check the dictionary length definitions are identical and "long enough".

What happens if you remove indexes and simply edit the record at TCL?

I have the key in postion in another field and cannot read the key in thier system using edit on the tcl using double quotes.

I removed the indexes, and have increased their field lengths to 400, they have LHIPXTSR /P and /X M4096 for a switch and 4096 in their shortcut for expanded.

My multiple key search found no problem keys.

This one key is

I don't understand why I can read these keys at my site and all other customer sites.
