I notice an earlier thread at

which relates to Sophos Anti Virus.

I too recently visited a client where the OI application tripped up when running, especially regarding the release of OI licences when logging off.

It did check OV files.

It seemed happier when running the LHIPXVXD driver.

The thread did not advise any solution, was there one.

Thanks in advance…

Colin,

I'm not familiar with Sophos Anti-Virus, but I do know that from the anti-viral software I've dealt with, there should be an option in the scheduling process to ignore certain file extensions. If so, have it ignore .OV extensions.

Colin and Stephen,

We have tried disabling checking of .OV files, but there still seems to be a problem.

A copy of our software is with Sophos for analysis.
