I'm getting a Group Calculation Error that I cannot get rid of - and restoring from back-up is not an option as the back-up appears to have the same problem. I've copied the network system (which is AREV 3.12 running on NLM on Novell 5.1) to a local drive to test some imports I need to run. The import process is actually several import processes, all of which have run fine, except one. The problem import blows up with the Group Calculation Error in group 71074 when reading from the CK01 table. Verifying the table with VERIFYLH shows no errors. Attempting to fix the group/table with FIXLH yields the following error message: 'THE "" TABLE IS NOT AVAILABLE'. Attempting to fix the error in the group with CTRL-F from the DUMP screen yields no response at all. HELP, PLEASE?

Do you have the FIXVOL.EXE and FIXCGE.EXE files in your AREV subdirectory? You seem to have hit a known bug in the older network drivers.

No, I do not have either file in the AREV subdirectory. Do I need them? Do I have to run them? Where do I get them?

They came with an upgraded network driver - possible the NT Service 2.1. I'm guessing you'll need to speak to Rev sales?

How large in bytes are the LK and OV parts of the CK01 table?

Also what are you importing, text data files into CK01? If so are these imports using the Rev Import menu functions or your own r/basic code to import.

Try running from TCL "COUNT CK01". See if the Count finishes without a group format error being reported or not.

I'm running my own r/basic subroutines, which are just writing data from one AREV table to another (the actually import is done - the data is in AREV, now I'm just writing it to the appropriate tables).

On the network copy, the count runs fine.
