I'm getting a non numeric data error when passing a number as the list name to the following routines:

SAVE_SELECT

ACTIVATE_SAVE_SELECT

DELETE_SAVE_SELECT

If a non numeric list name is used then everything works fine.

The following example will cause my system (OI 3.2) to break to the debugger with DELETE_SAVE_SELECT, Line 1, non numeric data. Ironic when you see that its actually a number thats passed to it.

access=SELECT FILENAME"

repname=1"

call RLIST(ACCESS, 5, , , ) call DELETE_SAVE_SELECT(REPNAME) call SAVE_SELECT(, REPNAME, , )

Does anyone know why this happens? The on line help doesn't mention any restrictions on the parameters passed to these routines.

Paul,

There were several problems with these routines in the version you are using (3.2). These routines have been completely updated since then.
