In the early 1980s, I did a couple of Revelation implementations on the IBM XT (which cost $4,995 at the time!) in my spare time, since I knew Pick Basic really well.

If I were to unwrap a copy of Revelation today, could I get up to speed with those skills from so many years ago?

Any thoughts?

Do you still have your sticker?

Well you're about half way there - you've got over the learning curve of variable length multi-values, dictionary items, symbolics, R/Basic and 4 GLs.

Now you have to learn indexing, a new 4GL, extended R/Basic, new tools and in the case of OI, the Windows Paradigm.
