After updating my workstation on the network to Win95 a few

months ago, when my Rev G programs do a 'capture' to the

network printer on the server (faster printer), the printing

is about 10 times PLUS slower than on our DOS machines. My

question is…. is there something I can change or do in

the setup so the Rev programs will run their usual speed

while spooling to the network?

The printing is slower or the computer is slower. I would expect the printing to be slower since, by default, the output is sent to a local spool file, then to the network spool file, then to the printer. Default of whom, you might ask, well, default of MS! But, this is the price of progress in this wonderfull world of ours.

OK, seriously, if you head off to the printer control icons, and get to the properties, you can determine how the printer spools the information. You can turn it off so it spools directly to the printer, so that it goes to the printer after the first page, or goes to the printer after the last page.

Remember, when you make this change, it's for all apps that use this printer, not just Revg.

Let us know how this worked out.
