This is somewhat of a repost, but since the original was a response I'm guessing it was overlooked.

I have been able to use escape code sequences to embed colors in a single text field. However, when I scroll through the text or if I leave that field to go to another, the colors disappear and I see the actual escape code sequences as text instead.

Am I doing something wrong? Is there a workaround?
