I have installed NLM 5 as per instructions and created REVPARAM file with contents ServerOnly=True. I get the following error message when loading OI:

Filing System Installation Failed (REPOS_DFS–FS477)

Openengine cannot continue

Removal of REVPARAM file allows access, however the SYSOBJ record in SYSTABLES does not contain FFFFFF as described, leading me to believe although the NLM is installed on the server it is not taking control of file access.

I have tried multiple frametypes on server and workstation starting with Ethernet_ii and going back to 802.2 but the error message is always the same.

After following several discussions, was there ever a resolution to your setup? We pretty well have exactly the same workstation/client/server setup you do that also reproduces the error. After rereading the discussions again, I could not nail down a concrete resolution.

Any feedback?

One thing I just discovered this morning, after a user under Citrix received this error and I didn't, was that the primary or default server was set differently for her than it was for me. By right-clicking the red N in the tray and choosing Netware Connections, I then set her primary server to the server running the NLM and she never received the error again. Must be some NW API call made by the driver, I suspect.
