I am running AREV on Windows XP. While in the AREV window, I changed the date and time in Windows. This did not change the AREV date and time. Please advise.

Try bringing up a new session of Arev. I just tried this and I have one session of Arev with the current date and another session with another date.

Open a dos cmd session (no Arev). Check the time in that cmd session. Then leave the cmd session open and switch to XP, change the time. Go back to the cmd session and check the time again.

If this is a Microsoft ntvdm problem, the time will still be the original time in the cmd session.

If the time has changed in the cmd session, then it seems this would be an arev issue OR an issue perhaps with the Netware client (if you use that).

We use Win2k and do not have this problem.

I don't know if TAME would help, google can find it for you.
