Hi
On 3 location we have problems with NT-Service and NPP
On all 3 location then installation of then NT-Service whent OK,
no problems whatever.
But when we installed the NPP 1.4.0.1 and tryed to start AREV we got errormsg "Unabel to open.." FS1009 and FS1030.
We have done a workaround on 2 locations who are using AREV 2.12 by using the 3Com+Open driver, it works and it is fast but sometimes a index get "Linklist is Broken..", but then one using AREV 3.12 we can't find a workaround.
Location 1+2 : NT-Service 1.0 / NPP 1.4.0.1 / AREV 2.12 / NT 4.0 (with service pack 3 installed)
Location 3 : NT-Service 1.0 / NPP 1.4.0.1 / AREV 3.12 / NT 4.0 (also with service pack 3 installed)
Please advise

Bo-
You MUST use the NPP to use the NT Service.
The reason that you are getting the broken linked
list errors is because the NT Service isn't really
being used.
To get around the FS1030 errors, make suer there is
a SYSTEM user on the AREV directories and subdirectories,
and that this SYSTEM user has FULL control.
(right click on directories, got to Properties, Sharing, and add
the system user)
