In Arev in a specific application, one could control which menu a user could gain access to upon logon by specifying a start menu for each user. Is there a similar method in OI?

Not specifically the same but there is more than one way of removing the epidermis from a feline.

One way is to have an invisible window which on it's create event sees who the user is and launches the appropriate window, perhaps destroying itself in the process. Another is to have the one main mdi menu but adjust the menu contents based upon user.

Bill,

I use a "Main Menu", set from the Application window

File-Application Properties-Setup Entry Point.

Then I have security built in for each user access to

their department menus.
