Disabling - (AREV Specific)

We have some information that we maintain in customer records that we have to maintain in perpetuity. We have a window used to add information to the records, using an AMV group consisting of 5 prompts. We have disabled - on the window so that the entire record cannot be deleted.
As a back door to keep them from deleting one of the lines in the AMV groups, we have a pre-save process that compares @RECORD with WC_OREC% to verify that no lines have been deleted, and if they have set WC_VALID%=0.
This works, but some people are not totally thrilled with this error trap. They would prefer - be completely disable for this window.
Is it possible to the scan code from @PRIORITY.INT or some other variable or is there another workaround that will disable this key?
