Cleaning up dead files in VOlume (AREV Specific)

Hello All:
I was wondering how to identify temp files that AREV creates
that stay in my AREV folder. There seems to be many, we
have been using CRIS for 12 years and no one has cleaned up
these files up in the past. I see some with several numbers for example: 19f05a21.011 or 3019c81.020 3019c81.021 3019c81.022
etc. Can I purge these files without any implementations?
We are having problems with 2 hour backups that fail due
to space issues and this was one place to look for clean up.
Thanks.

Lea-
If those file are at least a few day old they are save to clean up.
You can also clean up any files ending in .SUS, .VF*, and .SFX.
Hope it helps-

Copy the files with older time-date stamps to another directory and then zip them down. Don't touch anything with today's date time stamp.
You can restore the files from zip if they prove to be from another application or are somehow needed.
