       I want to define a USER table with columns that address a

users initials, password, and other things. Upon pressing F9 I want

that users initials written to the SYSTEM file, but I am unsure of

how to do that, or to even access the file. My reason for this is so

the user doesn't have to define a user through the app development

menu.

You could also create your own user definition as we did ourselves.

Some of our client use only one "user" i.c. the application definition.

The userdefinition and his other facts, together called the user profile

are filled in within the application in the System Manager menu.

We use this principle for several years and it works fine.

When we will be going to OI4WG (or JRev) we have look again at this subject though.
