Am trying to import data from Excel 2000. Saved it as a txt file with tab as the delimiter. However, when importing to Arev I managed to get only the key field but not the others. I think I am not identifying the proper delimiters for the field delimiters, record delimiters and end-of-file delimiters.

Text Marker=the default is 34 (") - edit the text file in NotePad to see if it is putting quotes around text (it should be) if not, leave as blank.
Okay, if the Data has quotation marks in it it could potentially through the import routine off. Embedded quotation marks should be changed to some other unused character prior to importing.

Don't remember, but I Excel will save to a DBF file. Arev imports from that rather nicely or you can simply use the file via the dbase bond.
