Is it possible to get who, or how many users, are currently running OI ?

In our OIsystem we sometimes get "too manu users are running OI …"

and then it would be nice to know who the "logged in" users are.

Stefan,

I believe what you are looking for is the SYSLOGINS table. If you open this in System Editor each row listed displays username and the application.

Stefan..

You might want to look at the code in the Scan Repository Wizard.

We have lifted portions of this for our app and it works fine. The problem is that you won't be able to do this within the domain of the app when the login fails since OENGINE is aborted. You'll have to do it from a logged-in user's workstation.

There is no SYSLOGINS table.

We run OI version 2.3 under NT.

You'd have to maintain the information yourself at login/logout.
